Holiday Wish List

You guys, I seriously can't believe that the Holidays are already here! I don't even know where the last year went. While thinking about what I'd like to add to my Christmas wish list, I figured I would do some browsing and see what spoke to me. Looks like all things pink, gold, and grey did just that! I also included some beauty and hair products into the mix, which is generally something I really don't like buying for myself! Not to mention I seriously hate wearing make-up and very rarely do so. But I think it's time for me to make more of an effort to integrate some make-up basics into my daily routine, slowly but surely. I have extremely sensitive dry skin that is also very susceptible to eczema so it's very important for me to buy products that won't hurt or irritate my skin. Clinique is my go to! It's great for sensitive skin and a recommended brand by my dermatologist. So, I figured I would start there!

I can't get over how obsessed I am with that Kate Spade belt - I would 100% wear this all year round, so this may need to be a treat from myself. I also love love those faux fur mittens. They definitely will brighten my mood when its 0 degrees outside!  The David Yurman bracelet is something I've had my eye on for a longggg time and I can't get over how freaking amazing that Tory Burch watch it.

But enough about me, what is on your Chrsitmas Wish List this year? Anything special you're hoping Santa brings you?

I hope you all have a great day!

Cape Sweater and OTK Boots

Cape: F21 // Shirt: J. Crew // Jeans: J. Brand // Boots: Stuart Weitzman 5050 // Earrings: BaubleBar // Necklace: Lord & Taylor // Hat: Target // Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target //

I'm obsessed with this cape sweater I scored at Forever 21 recently. It's super comfy and very forgiving in the mid section, which is quite perfect for the big Thanksgiving feast headed our way. I hope you all have an amazing day with family and friends!

Spots on Spots

Dress: LOFT (now on sale!) // Shoes: Vince Camuto (old) // Necklace: Jules Smith via ShopBop (on sale!)
// Bag: Coach // Watch: MK // Sunnies: Karen Walker

I LOVE this dress from LOFT. I initially bought it for a work trip to DC and styled it with nude suede pumps and a dainty necklace. In thinking of a way to style it for Thanksgiving, I through on a pair of fun animal print pumps and a chunky necklace. If you choose to dress more casual for Thanksgiving, you can definitely wear tights/boots with this or a cute pair of flats or smoking loafers!

Feelin' Country

Dress: Francesca's c/o (unavailable online) // Sweater: Target // Scarf: Zara (old) // Boots: Frye // Bag: Tory Burch (old) // Earrings: Francesca's c/o (unavailable online) // Sunnies: Karen Walker

When I received this beautiful dress and earrings from Francesa's, I couldn't wait to style them! I love the lace detail at the hem of the dress. What's really great, thought, is that this dress can be worn throughout the year. It's perfect for the warm months, but also great with a sweater and boots! TBD on how to wear this in 30 degree weather, but look out for a post styling this for the chilly winter months ahead!

Also, I can't say enough how much fun I had shooting this post (and more!) with Ruthie! Thank you again, Ruthie!!

Top 5 Handbags for Winter

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I am a bag lady. Bags are always the first thing I want to buy and I consider them an investment, because if you buy a good quality bag, you'll have it forever! Since Winter is fasttt approaching and us girls are looking to switch up our bag game, I figured I would put together my Top 5 Bags that I'm loving right now!

3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli: I have this Pashli in white (as I'm sure you've seen ALL over my blog) and I am in love. I lusted over this bag for months and months and months. When I finally pulled the trigger and bought it, I literally skipped out of Barneys NY and strutted my stuff down Madison Avenue with a massive smile on my face. True story. This cobalt blue is to die for and is a perfect winter hue that will go with anything and everything. It's bold and subdued all at the same time.

Elisabetta Slouch Handbag via Mark and Graham: I've had my eye on this bag for a while now. What first caught my eye was the classic silhouette. It quite literally timeless. The second thing that caught my eye was the leather. Even from just the picture, you can tell it's great quality; and super supple and soft! It comes in a few different colors, but this grey one has my name all over it. Oh, and did I mention you can MONOGRAM it? Done and done.

Kate Spade New York Evening Belles Mini Feather Bag: OK, but seriously, could this bag get any cuter? It is SO fun and flirty, and quite perfect for all Holiday related parties.

J. Crew Shearling Satchel: Shearling is everywhere right now and you will not hear this girl complaining. This is what we call a subtle showstopper. It's not in your face, but people walking by you carrying this will notice and be envious.

Tory Burch Robinson Pebbled Mini Square Tote: I love Tory Burch's Robinson collection. It's always a classic style, but every season she changes it up with different sizes, colors, and leather.  This red is bold and I love it. It will make any outfit pop and lighten up your mood when your trudging through the snow and wishing for warmer weather. It's the little things that get us through the cold, right?!

Fab Finds Friday vol. 10

Happy Friday everyone! Just wanted to drop a quick hello and wish you all a happy weekend ahead! I've put together a few things that I am currently loving to share with you all today. It's likely not shocking that there is plaid and sparkles all over... I mean, HELLO the holidays are basically here, which is really quite scary!

Any who, back to the pretty things shown above! I'm in LOVE with that navy and gold tote and truly cannot get enough of the plaid cocoon coat (and it's at SUCH an affordable price!). Also, that iPhone case needs to be made for the 6 plus STAT. The glitter pumps are perfect for NYE festivities and I love the idea of pairing that sequin skirt with a chunky sweater and a simple black pump.

As always, thanks for stopping by!

How To: Re-Wear Bridesmaid Dresses

Hi everyone! Long time no chat. So sorry for my absence these past few weeks! Work (and just life) has taken up quite a bit of my time, but I promise I will be back to regular programming soon!

So, for today's post, let's talk bridesmaid dresses. While I feel like EVERY bride wants their best girls to be able to wear their bridesmaid dresses again (including myself!), sometimes it's hard to get that notion of a bridesmaid dress out of your head. This usually means it stays in the back of your closet... likely forever.. or at least until you move and are forced to clean out your closet.

When Weddington Way asked me to pick out a bridesmaid dress of my liking from their awesome collection (brides to be - if you're still looking for dress options, I definitely suggest you take a look!) and style it for both a wedding and weekend look, I jumped right on board! Below are two different ways to style this beautiful Grace bridesmaid dress (SO obsessed with the scalloped neckline <3)!

Wedding

Weekend Look

Layer a white button down under a strapless dress for a super chic look that can be dressed up or down!

Shirt // Lipstick // Bow // Bag // Earrings // Belt // Jacket // Shoes

Thanks for stopping by!
