Be Bold

Dress as shirt: LOFT // Skirt: ASOS // Heels: Target // Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim // Belt: my grandmother's // Necklace: Etsy, BaubleBar // Bracelets: J. Crew Factory, TJ Maxx // Earrings: Lord and Taylor (super old) // Sunnies: J. Crew Factory

Happy Labor Day weekend, all!! Can't believe it's already that time of year again. I feel as if this Summer flew by and I'm still trying to grasp with the fact that Fall is approaching. While I'm in shock it's basically here, I am prettyyy antsy for sweater weather to commence, and as I had made a vow to not buy anymore "Summer" clothing these past few weeks, I decided to try experimenting with more layering - as plenty of it will be had in the coming months! I threw on my favorite purple dress from LOFT (last seen here) with this blue skirt from ASOS (last seen here) and loved that the two bold colors complimented each other well. Also, pairing neutral accessories with it helps keep the outfit in check.

On a side note, I must say, I am pretty in love with these new sunnies I picked up at the J. Crew Factory outlet... I love the shape and shade of them. Super fun, a little sassy, and will transition nicely into Fall as they will for sure go perfectly with the crisp cool colors that will be back in our closets veryyy soon.

I hope you all have a great long weekend!! Xo

White Denim

Shirt: J. Crew (old) // Jeans: J. Crew Factory // Shoes: Steve Madden // Bag: J. Crew (old) // Watch: MK // Necklace as Bracelet: Target (old) // Necklace: vintage // Rings: David Yurman, gifted // Sunnies: via consignment

Hi guys! Hope all of you are having a great week! I keep forgetting this upcoming weekend is a long weekend - how is it ALREADY Labor Day?! Where did summer go? Time seriously flies.

Well if you've been keeping up with the blog, you know one of my favorite color combos is blue and white. Timeless and classic, this combo can turn any outfit into a chic and effortless ensemble. I finally picked up a great pair of white jeans at the J. Crew Factory a few weeks back and I can't stop wearing them - they've been on my "Need to Buy" list for a while.  My gingham J. Crew top is always a go-to... always (last seen here), and this J. Crew newspaper tote is one of my favorite buys ever. The perfect tote in the softest leather... I die. And yes... I am basically a walking J. Crew catalog in this post!

As always, thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! Xo

Weekend Fun: Country Fest

On Saturday, Kyle and I went to the annual Country Fest concert feat. Kenny Chesney at Gillette Stadium! We never miss the show; it was probably our 6th or 7th year attending. We had such a blast - a little tailgating, beautiful weather, and a whole lot of great music. I decided to wear this black maxi dress to the concert - even though it's on the dressier side (I last wore it to a wedding and a gala event in college!), pairing it with a denim jacket and sandals helped dress it down. Plus, I was super comfy and it kept me warm once the sun went down!

Dress: Calvin Klein (old) // Jacket: J. Crew Factory // Bag: Coach //  Sandals: Sam Edelman // Watch: MK // Sunnies: Ray-Ban

We had such amazing seats!

Couldn't get rid of the red eye, but still a cute picture!

Hope you all had an amazing weekend - anyone do anything fun?! Xo

Weekend Wish List

via
Just a quick hello and wishing you all a very happy weekend!! Any fun plans? I'm headed to a concert today and then hope to have a relaxing Sunday!

So not that I'm wishing the warm weather away, but I'm really getting ready for Fall. My wardrobe radar is honed in on chunky knits and sweaters. I'm resisting the urge... for now (as it was close to 90 degrees this week and I'm not crazy), but my mind is on crisp air, fall jackets, and cute booties. Speaking of things on my mind, here are a few things I can't get off my mind!

EVERYTHING from J. Crew's New Arrivals, but especially this, this, this, this, this, and, I know this isn't a realistic purchase but it's so purtyy.
I just bought these and I cannot wait to wear them.
Stumbled upon this yesterday and think it is quite darling.
Obsessing over this skirt.
I've got leopard on the brain - will definitely be adding this and this to my closet.
The newest collaboration at BaubleBar is with Paper Fashion and it doesn't disappointment! Really lusting over this necklace and these earrings
Next investment bag, perhaps?

Thanks for dropping by! Xo

Spotted

Shirt: Tahari (super old) // Sweater: TJ Maxx (bought it recently!)  // Pants: J. Crew // Shoes: Calvin Klein (old) // Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim // Watch: MK // Bracelets: mostly gifted, J. Crew // Rings: gifted, leaf ring from BCBG (old) // Sunnies: Colors in Optics // Lipstick: YSL

Happy Hump Day all! If you follow me on Instagram, you saw me wear this almost exact outfit two weeks ago... I love this sweater a ton and plan to wear it many more times. It will transition nicely into Fall, and I can't wait to style it with different pieces in my closet. I'm thinking it will look super cute with a midi skirt or over a dress with booties, as well as maybe some dark wash flared jeans?! We shall see, but you can count on seeing this beaut again soon!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a nice day! Xo

One Skirt | Two Ways

As the warmer months start to slip away from us (sad to say... I can't believe it's already the middle of August!), we must take full advantage of our Summer wardrobes before Falls slips in and brings a crisp coolness to the air (which I am pretty excited about - Fall is my favorite)!

1. Shirt // Skirt // Bag // Shoes // Necklace // Earrings // Bangle // Ring
2. Sweater // Skirt // Bag // Shoes // Necklace // Earrings // Ring

This hot pink skater skirt from River Island is amazing and so versatile, it can easily be worn for different occasions through the end of Summer and even into Fall - how fab does it look with an over-sized sweater (front tucked), strappy sandals, and a simple white shoulder bag? It would also be perfect with ballet flats, a big everyday tote, and over-sized sunnies! Outfit #1 is still great for Summer - throw on an easy chambray blouse with some fun baubles, white heels (gotta get your wear in now!), and a brown leather bag  (... not to mention this is one of my dream bags...) to complete an easy breezy summertime look.

Hope you all have a great day! Xo

Turquoise // Mint

Top: F21 // Jeans: 7AM (super old) // Heels: Sam Edelman // Clutch: Anthropologie (old) // Necklace: TJ Maxx // Rings: gifted, vintage // Watch: MK // Bracelets: LOFT (old), J. Crew Factory // Earrings: Kate Spade // Sunnies: Colors in Optics

Just wanted to say a quick Hello to you guys and show you all this amazing necklace I found at TJ Maxx a few weeks back... it reminds me of something an Egyptian princess would have worn (silly I know... but come on, you know you see it too)! I'm kind of in love. It really helps jazz up an outfit and is somehow understated at the same time!  It will definitely be a keeper in the closet.

Hope you all have a lovely Monday! Xo

Navy and Black

Shirt: Express (super old) // Skirt: Ann Taylor (just bought it on super sale!) // Sandals: Sam Edelman // Bag: Coach // Rings: gifted // Watch: MK // Bracelet: J. Crew (old) // Necklace as a bracelet: Etsy // Necklace: little shop in NYC // Sunnies: via consignment

Just wanted to say a quick hello and share with you all this gorg skirt I bought at Ann Taylor last weekend! I've wanted a maxi that could transition into Fall and this one is definitely it. I decided to pair it with a flowy black blouse and comfortable sandals, but you could also dress it down by wearing it with a nice T or tank, or even a chunky knit and flats for the Fall or those cool Summer nights!

Hope you guys have a great day! Xo

Phillip Lim for Target

Welp... it's FINALLY here... well almost here. Phillip Lim for Target is so close I can taste it, and more importantly the look-book is out and we can see what goodies will be in stores in September! Not that I had any doubt, but this collection doesn't disappoint. It's a perfect mix of edge and class for the chic and contemporary girl (and guy)!
